Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does my insurance pay for my chiropractic care?
Most insurances will have some chiropractic coverage. At Unity Family Chiropractic we have spinal corrective programs for all types of insurances.  If you would like to call in with your insurance information we will be happy to check your benefits and get back to you.

2. How much will my visit cost?
On your first visit to our office we will do a complimentary consultation. Once the doctor discovers what needs to be done she will go over any costs before rendering services.

3. Does it hurt to get a chiropractic adjustment?
Absolutely not. We take care of children and even babies in our office. Typically kids fight to go first when they come in.  Check out our testimonial page and see how many children are being helped through chiropractic care!

4. Why do children need to be adjusted?
Spinal misalignments can begin as early as the birthing process and continue with falls, sports and bad posture. Detecting and correcting these as early as possible will ensure better health & immunity over a lifetime.  Most of our patients have their children checked and under care at a very early age.  We also specialize in prenatal adjusting which is extremely beneficial during pregnancy as well as labor & delivery.

5. Is chiropractic safe for my family?
The true test of the safety of any health care profession is to look at the malpractice rates of the doctors. The truth is that chiropractors will have lower malpractice rates than any other doctor your family visits.

6. What can I expect on my first visit?
On your first visit to the office a consultation, examination and any necessary x-rays will be done to determine if you are a candidate for chiropractic care.
